My Journey-Montego Bay

WOW..... I came to Montego Bay about a month ago since  6/12/13 after 15 years. The first week I got a  terrible cold because I took a bath and shampoo my hair in cold water..it was so hot that day. So that first week I had a cold, then the second week wow what did I eat my face got so swellon like botox went bad ,look at these pictures. Week three I had to go to the clinic and they gave me some pills and the went down. The free clinic in Montego Bay, Jamaica was so different from being in the States what we take for granted is a need of life in another country. The waiting room to see the doctor was out side I found it so fascinated and I just WOW the moment .
After being in Montego bay Jamaica for these past weeks, coming to Jamaica I wanted to reconcile Jamaica since I was nine years old when I was sent to my father in the states. And it is so funny, when I came to the states I had to learn American money and understand the language and in Jamaica I had to re-learn the money again. Even learning to say the correct term where I was born when they ask me what parish I was born. In the states I work in church in ministry doing different things but one of the most thing that was there to my heart was the food pantry. And being in Jamaica seeing the locals I would call it- and that term mean the locals that sell in the town to make there living or at the market. Personally working with the food pantry I see the same people coming thru so often for food each month or they to another agency to supply there needs. But I look downtown Montego bay and I see there are different type of people there : the business man == the buyer== the seller== the taxi man-and homeless.
As I look a place were no welfare around and to see the seller on the street day and night finding creative ideas to make couple of dollar for there dinner , whether  they went to the wholesaler or they go to the country and get goods for  selling at the market. I also notice that everyone that sell on the street  has a surviving spirit.
This lady I call mother has been selling for 20yrs at the market in  support her house and send her children to school, it was late at night and she still was there to make that dollar from those who come of the bus or taxi.
This other young lady, I am bad with names I should of wrote her name down. But she sells on the main road to the hotels where all the tourist pass and the driver and they will stop by and buy from her. Her stand did not have much but I enjoy her fry fish with cocoa bread it was so good.

This young I saw him on the beach across from the Sandals Hotel. Where he walk back and forth selling cook shrimps.
Well that's it for now talk later!!
