819/13 ....SEE MY CHILD I GOT MY HANDS ON YOU

This week was a week of oh God where are you?... The other day it was cloudy and as I look up in the sky a gentle little thought came to me ....Here we have the moon that can be seen all over world at one time ..But in certain area the cloud comes over this bright moon that have created for man kind...sometime the cloud can be thick, very dark that hides the  that bright moon at time. This made me think about my live although the light is within me ...there comes a time like now where the dark cloud mix with a heavy white cloud that come for a moment to cover that light within you.

I was control when I was doing my business in the states...here I am in Jamaica raw to the bone ...self question our self what am I doing....but when God is in the mix...because your life is not the same when you say yes lord I will do your will lord...when things get hard oh do we forget.. 

But when we stand still that cloud that seem like forever just pasts by...because as long you have your light on the cloud can't cover you too long.

This week I was looking for a break through from God...for me to be in the right position ...to see his goodness.....and he just send a little drop of rain to wet you so you can feel that he is there...just hold on.

• God number one blessing came from this mighty women of God.
• God number two blessing came from the past where this brought so much pain ...that 25yrs late they have to bless you no matter what.
• God number three  blessing when you are in position to do God work unto him...God will bring people to you that you connect so heartily not knowing that person is going to be a blessing to you and all you did was just be the way God expect you to be....WOW...

Well here I am a child of God and I have the victory...God Be the Glory.

8/12/13 A GREAT TEAM

This week when by so fast ....that I need to update before I forget about my days. Well on Monday we had a great team that pitch in and put a little color to the garden we work so great together. And most of all Evie one of the ladies from the team we connect so well , I pray that we can network in the future with more project like this . Here are some of the picture that was taken this week:

Praise the Lord rain came on Tuesday, at the Robin Nest that's O happy day because every thing get so dry...so Wednesday I was able to thin out some of the beds and add mulch.

 

It is so amazing for me I have been thru the most coldest winter  in North Carolina and have not got a cold like I am getting here in Jamaica where its hot as ever . Its been two month that I am here and this is my third cold I am having it crazy ....so today I guess my body wanted to slept all day .lol

 

One thing I experience this week, if God have given you something to do and you allow distraction to set in for sure there will be confusion and it may cost you money that you did not need to spend...When it come to God ...it is ok to say I can't ...because friends or people can't give you the blessing God has for you ...they can be a vessel but they can't open doors that God want you to enter...and when you move from your position or path you may miss it...that day Friday I immediately recognize that... what I was doing was a distraction when confusion came in because I forget my id and had to turn back in the taxi which end up casing me more....I had to cried out to God and ask please forgive me....each day this new walk is amazing. 

 

Well I talk with you guys later...please keep praying for my journey and the finance to keep it going ...just remember when I went to church on Sunday a quest speaker came to speak he ask me what you want from god and I said more finance ....his answer was just glorify him ...that all God expect from you...thanks God for bring that to my remembrance. JUST  GLORIFY HIS HOLY NAME.

8/4/13 EXPECTING A BREAK THROUGH FROM GOD

This week I am expecting a breakthrough from God, because I am going to get my own flat where God can minister to me and set my atmosphere how I like it to be in a tranquility state of mind.  I always thought it would be nice having a flat in Jamaica and when I go back to the USA I can always sublease to a tourist or a missionary to stay there when I am traveling…..and I am going to live in that vision that I once had….read this quick poem guys….A PRAYER OF FAITH, written by Hannah Kohaus

What I am learning in live is that when we are young growing up we may have a best friend….and life take you on a different route, the things that you hope that you can do together does not fit anymore…wow. When you know God has a calling on your life and the friends that you once keep so dear to your heart …does not understand your process of how you have to do things. So you fine the term unequally yoke, comes into play…so you end up defending and explaining yourself….God is teaching me something what a test…and know you have to stand up for the God in you even it mean letting go the friendship or keep it and let God shine in you and do not settle in their life style. One thing that I am face with is that I have to be bold more than ever and speak up…I have a certain standard live I WILL not change it or compromise it….so I am boldly stepping out on faith…..greater than before….OK I am looking at flats ...? With how much money in my pocket.

I remember years ago when my kids where small….I remember as if it was yesterday….God let me know …DON’T WORRY WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO EAT OR WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO WEAR OR WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE…my kid are grown up, praise God….and that has not change and I will forever live by that.

Well guys my step was ordered on Wednesday, I found a flat that is just me…its furnished and everything that I need is in the little apartment it’s so cute and private….I can pray and look out into the wood and the sky ….and be connected to God and his creation. 

Lord sends that supernatural blessing that only you can open for me lord. And you what so great I was staying Lord I want to be in the area that I am in…how about not only that I am still in the area but closer to the main road about 25 min walk….i walk everywhere ….uphill…down hills I am going to lose weight crazy know. But I can walk to main to save money, so the Robin Nest van that take the volunteers and staff to work can pick me up also on the main from where I am staying  ….i don’t have to go into down anymore….there is supermarket nearby …water place ….the bank…Digicel for my internet..Wow God…. The week ended nicely at the Robin Nest children home….every week new missionary group comes in and it was wonderful….the first group was from Youth with A Mission from different area of the country….wow  these kid are on fire to do Gods work for his glory they came by Robin Nest to help with the kids and the also took time to help me with construction of the garden and the they will spend the remain time helping building house for the poor I truly enjoy them.

7/23/13 THE BANK

This week God kindly reminded me, daughter who do you belong to…. The last time I mention about my bank card was eaten by the ATM machine, didn't have any extra cash and the bank had to mail another card to me. Well the landlord Mr. Barrett where I am staying, sign the letter for me, thank goodness he his trust worthy.

Okay the test comes… I had to go to town or downtown to the bank, the only think is that I had bus fare just to go to town but not to come back OK.  Someone at the house gave me money to bring something for them when I am coming back  from town.

So I went to the bank and behold the card will not work…OMG not  at this time….Jesus….. Over n over again… I try to call customer service to my bank on my Jamaica phone and could not call the 1800 # okay.

So the money the person gave me I went and buy minutes to put on my phone to call Nadia to do a three way for me..

Her response was mommy I was just going to turn my phone off …god be the glory… so she dial the 1800 # for me. Customer service came on and then put me on hold to reactivate my card….great the minute are going…Nadia saying ma calm down….so while I am waiting all I can say is repeating Jesus…………until the lady came back on said so for the delay but we just reactivate your card go and try using it now.. So while customer service still on the phone I had someone is in front of me using the machine…. Again repeating Jesus……cause my concern was the minutes but God stretch the time….so finally the lady in front of me finish …so while the customer service was still on the phone she told me what to do and praise the lord it when thru..  I Put back the person money back and when a pick up some things that I needed also.

Another experience that day for God to remind me was that I didn't have any internet at the house, my friend took the internet box and didn't get back in time as yet so while I was in town I saw that digicel was promoting their prepaid internet box. Everywhere I went they wanted you to sign a contract and I didn't want that or monthly was costly. 

So I went to the shop to buy the item and saw taxi that would take me home got home and realize I didn't go back for internet box I was beating up myself because at this time when I realize it was 4 pm ….O my goodness. So I just jump up and went back town and praying God please let them be still be there and God be the glory I have my own internet box and they gave me 24hr free….the only thing is that I have to buy minute for it …..God has a plan.

I went to church on Sunday and had shout out praise unto the lord….I feel the chains breaking .....like the songs say There is Power in The Name of Jesus...Break every chain..break every chain..

7/29/13 @ The Robin Nest Children Home

Wow…..This is the 7^th week that I am in Montego Bay….I know besides my personal experience I know that God had a purpose for me to do and I was feeling out of place. Well this week one think lead to another in other word God order my steps….I had made arrangement to go to the orphanage finally so Robin’s Nest gave me the okay to come…you see the last time I was in Jamaica last year October heard in my spirit orphanage so I keep asking people we is a orphanage and no one can give me a direct answer. So i went back to North Carolina and start collecting kid’s clothes.

Well this week my steps were ordered prior to this moment I was in town and I saw two white girls that was in the square sitting waiting for their ride….so I starting talking with them and they told me about ROBIN NEST, they gave me connection to the director name and number ……look at God…called the number and here I am

Robin Nest is so loved; the children are beautiful the place is absolutely beautiful surrounded with hills and trees….WOW….Robin Nest Is located way up in Salter Hills  there is no taxi to go up there, so the company van come and pick up you at the bridge way …way …way down the mountain or in a special spot in town. If you love nature this is the place to come and volunteer…volunteers come from all over the world to work with these precious kid….all they need is to be love.

I feel so belong here, the director Vickie has a vision for growing her own crop…..okay God…so when Vickie show me the land and what’s in here heart for the Robin’s Nest Orphanage my heart is at joy ….because I have a purpose for the Lord  it feeling so GREAT…

The place was originally design for missionaries to come and stay when they come to Jamaica….there is building of a old Baptist church still standing , one of the issues Robin Nest is having  water come to the property on a continual bases. Which for sure can be nerve rocking…but they working out a system to operate.

Wow!!!! The week has come to an end at the Robins Nest….the project has started in redesigning the garden. There will be a crew of volunteers coming on Monday to help with the cleanup of the bed, that’s going to exciting.
