Discovering My Jounrey In Jamaica: 7/29/13 @ The Robin Nest Children Home

Wow…..This is the 7^th week that I am in Montego Bay….I know besides my personal experience I know that God had a purpose for me to do and I was feeling out of place. Well this week one think lead to another in other word God order my steps….I had made arrangement to go to the orphanage finally so Robin’s Nest gave me the okay to come…you see the last time I was in Jamaica last year October heard in my spirit orphanage so I keep asking people we is a orphanage and no one can give me a direct answer. So i went back to North Carolina and start collecting kid’s clothes.

Well this week my steps were ordered prior to this moment I was in town and I saw two white girls that was in the square sitting waiting for their ride….so I starting talking with them and they told me about ROBIN NEST, they gave me connection to the director name and number ……look at God…called the number and here I am

Robin Nest is so loved; the children are beautiful the place is absolutely beautiful surrounded with hills and trees….WOW….Robin Nest Is located way up in Salter Hills there is no taxi to go up there, so the company van come and pick up you at the bridge way …way …way down the mountain or in a special spot in town. If you love nature this is the place to come and volunteer…volunteers come from all over the world to work with these precious kid….all they need is to be love.

I feel so belong here, the director Vickie has a vision for growing her own crop…..okay God…so when Vickie show me the land and what’s in here heart for the Robin’s Nest Orphanage my heart is at joy ….because I have a purpose for the Lord it feeling so GREAT…

The place was originally design for missionaries to come and stay when they come to Jamaica….there is building of a old Baptist church still standing , one of the issues Robin Nest is having water come to the property on a continual bases. Which for sure can be nerve rocking…but they working out a system to operate.

Wow!!!! The week has come to an end at the Robins Nest….the project has started in redesigning the garden. There will be a crew of volunteers coming on Monday to help with the cleanup of the bed, that’s going to exciting.
